So how does this commission stuff work?
— Contact —
Contact me via my website or any of my socials to say you’d like to commission me to paint something. I’ll let you know when my next available commission slot is. We then discuss the details of what you want - what mini(s) you want painted, color schemes, which painting tier, etc.
— Price Quote —
Based on our discussion I’ll give you a quote for the work. If the cost and timeline works for you, I’ll add you to my waitlist. If the estimate is more than $150 (and you’re a first time customer), I will require a 30% deposit to hold your spot on the waitlist.
— Shipping Miniatures to Me —
Approximately 2 weeks before I’m able to start your project, I’ll reach out to confirm the job and give you time to ship the miniatures to me. I’ll request any tracking information you have and will let you know as soon as the miniatures have arrived.
— Progress Pictures —
If you would like to see progress pictures along the way I am happy to provide those! These will be cellphone shots taken at my workspace. When the paint is completed, I will send a picture to confirm you’re happy with the work before moving on to sealing and final photos
— Final Pictures —
You will receive studio photos of the final miniature from multiple angles and with different backgrounds for your final approval. Complete payment is due at this point.
— Payment —
Payments are handled through PayPal invoices (you don’t need to have an account with PayPal to pay through them). Invoices may be set up to allow partial payments if being able to pay smaller amounts over time works better for you than one lump sum. In this case, payments should start well before the project begins as I can’t ship finished miniatures until payment has been made in full.
— Shipping —
Miniatures are packaged with care and shipped with both tracking and insurance. You will receive the tracking information as soon as I have it.
